Born and raised in Mumbai, I’ve spent over two decades helping adolescents, young adults, women and families find their footing — in a room where nobody has to pretend, perform, or translate their feelings into medical language.

I trained at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (Sion) and specialised in psychiatry at G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, with a WHO Fellowship in psychosocial rehabilitation.

My style is warm but structured:

  • we start with what’s actually bothering you — not a checklist,
  • we look at the whole family system, because minds don’t live alone,
  • and medication, when needed, is explained sans jargon, always.

Outside the clinic I’m a community mental-health advocate — charitable clinics, school and NGO workshops, media work as a mental-health expert, and MARG, the public-service initiative we launched in 2017.
